Volunteers will help serve roughly 500 meals in the TASK dining room or work with their kitchen team to help cut, chop and prep food. Volunteers may also help wrap utensils or assist with distribution of personal care items at our patron services window. No prior experience is needed.
We can also coordinate a short tour and orientation to happen before or after the volunteer shift.
Street parking is available (although carpooling is encouraged). TASK is ADA accessible -- some volunteer positions can involve sitting (e.g. people helping serve coffee and providing to-go meals), but most involve standing and/or walking.
