Who We Are
Hispanic Unity of Florida (HUF) was founded in 1982 by local community leaders as a welcoming place of hope and support for immigrants and others starting a new life in the United States. From day one, their mission has been to help individuals and families adjust to life in a new country, find their footing, and pursue their version of the American dream.
HUF is South Florida’s largest 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the immigrant community.
What We Do
HUF believes in you and your future. That’s why they offer free programs to help you and your family grow, learn, and reach your goals. From fun and safe places for kids after school to support with getting better jobs, new career opportunities, and starting a business, we’re here for every step. They can guide you through becoming a U.S. citizen, finding a home, and getting health care and food. No matter where you’re starting, we’ll walk with you toward the tomorrow you dreamed.
