Child Wellness Institute (ChildWIN)

ChildWIN is a stand-alone program of Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey (PCA-NJ), an organization that promotes great childhoods, positive parenting and healthy child development.  Founded in 1979, its evidence-based programs are dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect in all forms for all New Jersey children. PCA-NJ's prevention programs include public awareness campaigns, parenting education programs, workshops and professional training, home visitation services, initiatives that promote parental involvement in a child’s education, and projects that support highly vulnerable families. PCA-NJ helps parents to nurture, develop and sustain healthy children. It is the New Jersey Chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America, a network of chapters in all 50 states.

At The Child Wellness Institute (ChildWIN®), our goal is to help children to grow into healthy and productive adults. We promote wellness in a variety of ways for children including health, fitness, nutrition, self-care, social, and education. ChildWIN® builds resilience and social-emotional health within children and families by offering engaging, interactive, and research-informed trainings, workshops, and consultations to parents and professionals.  Schools and homes are transformed into nurturing, calm and trauma-sensitive environments via trainings, webinars, classroom coaching, parent workshops, and creative toolkits for parents/classrooms.
