The Salvation Army Mobile Food Pantry is up and running, and needs volunteers to help serve the food-insecure people of Camden. Volunteers will meet and greet community residents, unload/load the truck, bag fresh and shelf-stable goods at locations in Camden County. Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus but not required. Loaders and unloaders must be able to lift up to 25-pound boxes. Volunteers can meet at the Kroc Center at 9am to help load the truck. A volunteer is also needed to sign in clients. We provide transportation. Limited seating on the van. The van departs the Kroc Center at 9:30am. Volunteers can also meet us directly at the site by 9:45am.
