Join Habitat for Humanity of Burlington and Mercer Counties for a day of furniture building and other assorted tasks at its ReStore in Maple Shade! The organization receives many donations of new furniture that must be assembled before going out to the sales floor.
Although job responsibility will be primarily assembling donated furniture, there may also be some unloading of trucks and set up of displays in the store. Here's the disclaimer: boxes may be heavy, and there may be some rolls of carpet that need to be unloaded and set up in the store.
Volunteers are asked to bring their own work-type gloves. Habitat will have some tools on-hand, but your own hand tools would be helpful, and if you're comfortable brining your own power screwdrivers, please do.
