Farmers Against Hunger works to get produce left in farmers' fields to families that are hungry. It does that by working with volunteers to harvest these surplus crops -- a process known as "gleaning" -- which are then taken to FAH coolers until distributed to local hunger relief organizations. Volunteers will split their day between Specca Farms in Bordentown, and Strawberry Hill Farms in Chesterfield, where they will glean dropped apples.
