Who We Are

Right now, more than 50,000 people in the greater Mercer County area, including children, don’t have enough to eat.

TASK prepares 9,000 meals per week, three-quarters of which benefit residents of Trenton, where 75 percent of Mercer County’s homeless population lives. We also serve places where hunger is more hidden, including Princeton, Hightstown, Bordentown and Morrisville, PA.

What We Do

Food insecurity – and its result, hunger – have many causes. That’s why we approach the problem holistically and with relentless creativity.

A meal at TASK opens the door to a world of services and support. Along with food, we provide basic necessities, access to case managers, and programs that encourage and aid self-sufficiency, so patrons have the tools they need to pursue a better quality of life and leave hunger behind.
